Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update October 5: Vidya Spoils Armaan-Abhira’s Surprise For Rohit-Ruhi

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (October 5) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) goes toy shopping for Ruhi and Rohit's upcoming baby. Before leaving, they ask the kids at the Poddar house to send Ruhi and Rohit out for a while so they can plan a surprise.

While shopping, Abhira coincidentally runs into Armaan (Rohit Purohit), who is also there to buy toys. Both are surprised to see each other and ask one another for not mentioning their shopping plans. They eventually decide to shop together for the baby.

Meanwhile, the cousins send Ruhi and Rohit to a yoga class to keep them out of the house. With the kids' help, Abhira and Armaan prepare and decorate Ruhi and Rohit's room, painting it and filling it with toys. When Ruhi and Rohit return, they are amazed by the surprise. Ruhi gets emotional upon seeing butterflies painted on the wall, sharing with Abhira that they were her favorite as a child.

However, Vidya interrupts the joyful moment, warning that the paint smell could be harmful to Ruhi and the baby. Abhira reassures her that they used safe, non-toxic paint, but Vidya insists on taking Ruhi out of the room for safety.

VIDYA ASKS ARMAAN-ABHIRA TO VACATE ROOM FOR ROHIT-RUHI

Later, everyone gathers downstairs, where Ruhi and Rohit suggest they stay in the guest room. But Vidya surprises everyone by announcing that from now on, Ruhi and Rohit will move into the biggest room in the house, which belongs to Armaan and Abhira. Vidya declares that Armaan and Abhira will shift to Ruhi and Rohit's room instead, leaving the family in shock.

As Armaan agrees to start the shifting process, Manisha tries to intervene, urging Kaveri to stop the family from breaking apart. Vidya snaps back, questioning how Manisha could tell Kaveri what to do, especially regarding people like Armaan and Abhira. The episode ends with Abhira and Armaan heartbroken by the turn of events.
