Kaveri questions Manish about why he spent so much on gifts for Abhira, who is an orphan, and Manish, frustrated, responds that she must respect Abhira since she is the eldest daughter-in-law of the house.

Later, Abhira cares for Manish and brings him water, but Ruhi becomes angry when she notices it. Manish explains to Ruhi that she needs to accept Abhira and also tells her that he saw her stealing Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) ring during the engagement.

Meanwhile, Armaan is tense, and Rohit consoles him. Armaan shares his worries about how the family treats Abhira, and Rohit reassures him, saying that everything will be fine as he stands by him as his brother. Ruhi then interrupts Manish and Abhira's conversation and taunts Abhira.
