Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update September 21: Vidya Refuses To Attend; Will AbhiMaan Get Married?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (September 21) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Manish asks Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) if she will give him the honor of performing her kanyadan and tells her that she looks just like his daughter. Abhira responds by saying that her parnanu equals her maika.

Meanwhile, Ruhi plans to marry Armaan (Rohit Purohit). Yes, you read that right! Vidya is angry with Armaan, and despite his efforts to convince her, she leaves. Kaveri gives Armaan curd and sugar and tells everyone to get ready for the baraat. Kaveri also advises Armaan to give Vidya some time, as she will eventually understand.

On the other hand, Rohit wonders why Ruhi hasn't returned from the parlor, and he receives a text from her saying she will go directly to the venue, as she is bringing a special gift for Armaan and Abhira. Madhav tries to reason with Vidya, but she insists it's her final decision not to attend the wedding.

Vidya expresses that she now feels like a stepmother, as Armaan chose Abhira over her, and she believes he no longer needs her as a mother. Abhira says everything is going well but mentions that she misses Akshara a lot.

Everyone dances in the baraat, and Armaan silently wishes for Vidya to attend. Meanwhile, Ruhi arrives at a temple and sets up a havan for her wedding with Armaan. Manoj tells Madhav that Vidya will definitely come because she loves Armaan.

Vidya, alone in her room, looks at Armaan's photo and cries, saying she will always wish the best for him, but she also hopes this marriage does not take place. Now, it'll be interesting to see if Armaan and Abhira will finally get married or if Ruhi will create a new problem.
