Not Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, THIS Star Plus Serial To Go OFF Air After IPL 2025 Finale

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin twist: Star Plus is busy reshuffling the time slots of its popular shows, making way for new daily soaps. While Pocket Mein Aasman will soon bid adieu to the audience, another drama is said to be under the scanner.

WILL GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN GO OFF AIR?

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Jaadu Teri Nazar will witness a change in their timings following the culmination of the Indian Premier League 2025. As IPL ends, the channel will launch its much-awaited show titled Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehad Shehad at 8 pm.

In an interesting development, the channel will change the time slot of its new property Jaadu Teri Nazar to create space for Abrar Qazi' upcoming show.

As Star Plus is busy making programming changes, gossip mills suggested that Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin might end due to low TRPs. The production house had to bring back Bhavika Sharma a Savi to increase the viewership.

"The decision to introduce a new star cast didn't work in favour of the show. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein saw a new breath of life when Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma entered the romantic drama. Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt's exit didn't impact the show much; however, Bhavika Sharma's departure was detrimental to Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin as the makers connected to her character. The constant leaps and changes in cast seem to have upset the loyal audience," our source earlier told Filmibeat.

When we asked our khabri about the rumours of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin ending, he quipped, "GHKPM is under the scanner, but the channel has not taken a decision. Star Plus is monitoring the ratings of all the shows, including Jhanak, Jaadu Teri Nazar. Ghum Hai is expected to continue for some time as the makers have received an extension. If the numbers don't improve, the show will definitel shut shop."

ADVOCATE ANJALI AWASTHI TO GO OFF AIR NEXT MONTH

Speculations are rife that Advocate Anjali Awasthi will be pulled off air due to a drop in ratings. Despite the decrease in TRPs, the show is still the slot leader at 8:30pm. The channel has several shows in pipeline, and hence, it is axing properties that are not fetching huge viewership.

As of now, only Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa and Udne Ki Aasha are safe on Star Plus. The last episode of Advocate Anjali Awasthi is expected to air in the last week of June 2025.
