Aishwarya Sakhuja Returns to TV with Zyada Mat Udd; Opens Up About Her Childhood Dream

Television actress Aishwarya Sakhuja, known for her standout roles in Saas Bina Sasural, Main Naa Bholungi, and Yeh Hai Chahatein, has made her much-anticipated comeback with Colors TV's new show, Zyada Mat Udd, which premiered on March 8. Starring alongside Helly Shah and Shehzad Shaikh, Aishwarya takes on the role of Shilpa Srivastava, the head of the cabin crew who is bossy, assertive, and once harboured dreams of becoming an actress, a dream that never materialized.
In an exclusive conversation, Aishwarya shared an interesting revelation about how she once aspired to be an air hostess in real life. Recalling her experience, she said, "I still remember when I had gone for Miss India. Right after the pageant, we were given an opportunity to join Air India. But my father didn't approve and I threw a fit when he didn't let me go ahead with it."
When asked if she felt any pressure portraying a profession often subject to stereotypes, she confidently responded, "I don't feel pressurized easily. Honestly, I don't even know what kind of stereotypes we're referring to because being an air hostess is a dignified profession that takes you on an adventure every day."
On managing expectations after a break from television, she said, "I don't stress about these things. People who have enjoyed my work will continue to do so because I give my hundred percent in every shot. I believe in destiny, what's meant for me will come to me."
Lastly, when asked if she infused any personal traits into her character, she shared, "People who know me will recognize it when they watch the show. I don't want to reveal anything yet, but I promise you will enjoy watching it."
With her return to television, Aishwarya Sakhuja is set to captivate audiences once again in this fresh and dynamic role.
