Ajaz Khan Booked For R*pe On Pretext Of Marriage; Case Filed By Actress Amid Ongoing House Arrest Controversy
Ajaz Khan is under investigation by Mumbai Police following allegations of sexual assault made by an actress. The allegations emerged amid controversies regarding his OTT show, House Arrest, which has been criticized for its content and legality.

The Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation into actor Ajaz Khan following allegations of sexual assault made by an actress. She claims that Khan assaulted her on two separate occasions at his home, under the guise of promising marriage in exchange for a role in his OTT show, "House Arrest." According to her statement to the Charkop police, Khan misled her by stating his religion permits him to have four wives, even though he is already married, to justify his proposal.
The controversy surrounding Ajaz Khan escalated after the National Commission for Women (NCW) intervened, summoning both Khan and Ullu CEO Vibhu Agarwal on May 9. The summons were a response to viral clips from "House Arrest" that depicted women being forced into intimate acts on camera, sparking nationwide outrage. The NCW criticized the show for promoting vulgarity and violating consent, highlighting the problematic content that led to its removal from the Ullu app, which is generally known for adult-rated programming.
Adding to Khan's troubles, his involvement in "House Arrest" had previously attracted legal issues. The Amboli Police booked him following a complaint by the Bajrang Dal, which accused the reality show of depicting women in an indecent manner. This legal challenge came to light shortly before the actress accused him of sexual assault, compounding the controversies surrounding the actor.
The incident in question revolves around the actress' allegations that Khan raped her twice under the pretext of marriage after offering her a role in "House Arrest." She reported that the first assault occurred on March 25, followed by another instance a few days later, with Khan repeatedly assuring her of marriage.
"House Arrest" has been at the center of controversy for its content, with viral videos showing Khan pressuring female contestants to engage in sexual acts with male participants. This content led to public backlash and the eventual removal of the show from the Ullu platform.
The ongoing investigation by the Charkop police into the actress's allegations against Khan marks a significant development in the case. As the authorities delve into the claims, the actor faces serious accusations that have sparked both legal and public scrutiny.
