Anupamaa Fame Ishita Dixit: Acting Is Everything To Me, I Want To Prove Myself Every Day

Anupamaa Fame Ishita Dixit Acting Is Everything To Me

Television actress Ishita Dixit believes that daily soaps are more than just entertainment-they are a part of people's everyday lives.

Sharing her thoughts on the power of the medium, she says,"My viewpoint is very simple-daily soap is a part of people's lives. You're coming into their homes regularly, like you're part of their family. Sometimes, they even connect with the characters emotionally. If the character cries, they cry; if the character laughs, they laugh. So, jitna audience humare liye important hai, utna hi hum unke liye!"

Talking about how audiences emotionally invest in on-screen characters, she added, "Yes, that happens. People do connect with the character and feel the emotions-along with the story. They begin to live the journey with us."

Ishita also shared how her family keeps her grounded with honest feedback, especially after the recent leap in her show, "My family gives kaafi saare opinions-about how I'm looking, what I'm wearing. After the leap, my look is completely different. I'm married in the show now, and they're loving the Indian wear.

When it comes to my performance, they've always told me one thing-whatever I do, I should give 200%. And it does matter to me. Acting is everything to me. My work is everything. I want to prove myself every day-that I'm something and I'm not here for less. I don't want to settle for less."

Social media appreciation and trolling are part of an actor's journey, and Ishita addresses both with maturity It's fine she says, "if there is good, there's going to be bad also. You have to accept both. Haan, I won't lie-sometimes it does bother me when people objectify me or say things about my weight. Sometimes they even use abusive language. But I've decided I'm never going to give them the power to make me feel bad about myself. I only concentrate on the good."

Teasing an exciting moment from her show, Ishita gave a glimpse of what fans can look forward to "There's one amazing scene coming up where I'm fighting with my father (Toshu). It's going to be super intense, and I'm really looking forward to that scene."

From emotional depth to resilience in the face of negativity, Ishita Dixit continues to win hearts-both on and off screen.
