The show starring Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi was originally slated to hit the airwaves in the first week of May, but the channel changed the decision. As of late, no new promos of the romantic drama has been released, leaving the viewers confused.

Ekta Kapoor and Sony Entertainment Television have joined hands for a new romantic drama. This will be their biggest launch of the year as they are mighty invested into the project.

Our reliable industry source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Sony TV's new show with Ektaa Kapoor will be loaded with romance, drama, thrill and passion. At a time when kitchen politics and love triangles have dominated Hindi television, the makers are planning to bring back the flavour of love and romance with their newest presentation. It will be set against the backdrop of a tier-1 city, showcasing modern-day love and relationships, which go through different phases. Every couple faces ups and downs in their relationship and the creative team wants to use it as a plot for their serial."

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was supposed to launch after the culmination of IPL 2025. However, the latest developments have reportedly affected the programming schedule of many Hindi GECs. BALH 4 was confirmed to premiere on May 26, a day after IPL 2025 finale.

As tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated following the Pahalgam attack and India's subsequent action against the neighbouring country through Operation Sindoor, the entertainment industry has also been impacted. Rajkummar Rao-Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Bhool Chuk Maaf will now directly premiere on Prime Video, skipping the theatrical release.

IPL 2025 has also been suspended for a week. The new IPL 2025 schedule will be announced by BCCI soon. This has also put the GECs into jeopardy as they were waiting for the cricket league to end to launch their shows.

While Colors TV launched Meri Bhavya Life amid the IPL fever, Sony SAB, Sony TV and Star Plus wanted to introduce their new properties after the culmination of the league. Star Plus even postponed the launch of Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed.

"Sony Entertainment Television is launching Prithviraj Chauhan on May 19 at 7:30pm. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4 was slated to release a week later; however, with the latest developments, the show might face another delay as the channel wants the best slot possible for the show. They are still working on the programming changes. BALH 4 will take the 8pm slot, replacing Celebrity MasterChef during weekdays. The channel is confident that the romantic saga will strike a chord with the audience and it is placing all its bet on Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda," an industry source told Filmibeat.

While all signs point towards a delay, another industry expert said that BALH season 4 might launch as per plans. "May 26 seems to be the best day unless the channel wants to delay so that there's no clash with IPL 2025. If that happens, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain season 4 will be pushed to June first week," he quipped.
