The first promo was released in March, but the channel went into incognito mode and refrained from unveiling any new promos. While the second promo is yet to be released, the channel has confirmed the launch date and time slot of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season.

WHY SONY TV POSTPONED BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN NAYA SEASON RELEASE DATE?

Last week, Filmibeat revealed the reason behind the delay in the launch of Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi's show. The makers didn't want to take any risk during the peak phase of Indian Premier League, and hence, decided to postpine the launch of the romantic drama.

"As Prithivraj Chauhan is now premiering on June 4, 2025 at 7:30pm, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya season will further get pushed for two to three weeks. The romantic saga will not hit the airwaves in the last week of June 2025, taking the 8pm slot on the channel. The channel is expected to release a new promo in the upcoming days. The programming team doesn't want to clash with IPL 2025 and is cautious about launching shows during the peak cricket season in India," a source told Filmibeat.

CAN BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN NAYA SEASON GET GOOD TRPS FOR SONY TV?

The dwindling viewership of the shows has been a major concern for Sony Entertainment Television. Despite beefing up the weekends with CID season 2 and Crime Patrol, the channel failed to improve the ratings. New fiction shows also failed to connect with the masses.

Now, all eyes are on Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season. Can it recreate the magic of the previous season and bring decent viewership for the channel?

An industry expert exclusively told Filmibeat, "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season is expected to give the much-needed push to Sony TV, which is struggling in the ratings game. New properties like CID 2, Shirdi Wale Sai Baba and Crime Patrol have failed to strike a chord with the audience. The channel is pinning its hopes on Bade Achhe season 4 as the programming team believes that the nostalgic factor and star-studded cast will work wonders for the show."

"Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4 is expected to launch around 0.8-1 TVR, depending on the promotions. While things will depend on the engaging promos and massive promotions, Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi's chemistry is expected to bring more viewership for the show. Although we are not expecting the show to be a game changer for Sony TV, it is expected to give a boost to the weekday prime-time of the channel," the expert added.
