When Karan was asked what his views are on what Elvish did to media, he said, "Young ladka hai (He is a young guy), he has a lot of fan following too, woh toh apne aap ko bhi media bol raha tha (He was saying himself the media). I understand the space of work, na main us world se aata hu, na mujhe pata hai woh actually mein kya karte hai (I don't come from that world, neither do I have any idea what he does for living)."

He further nullified the claims of 'buying the media', speaking about this, he said, "Yehi baat hai to khud ka channel na khol leta (If this is the matter, I would have opened my own channel)."

For the unversed, Elvish too has spoken up about the whole incident and said, "Whatever is happening on the internet, 'Elvish Vs media', 'Elvish said paid media', 'Boycott Elvish', so let me tell you what has happened. There was a trend yesterday 'Elvish bigger than BB' which is not true. The show that has made me reach at a position, I cannot be bigger than that. I had gone there to support Rajat, and there were supporters of Vivian, Karan and everyone else was there to support. See, I don't have anything to do with them (media), neither I have any personal relationship with them. So, they asked questions where they showed one person at a higher spot and another lower.
