WILL BIGG BOSS 19, KHATRON KE KHILADI 15 SHIFT TO SONY TV FROM COLORS TV?

Gossip mills have suggested that Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi will now air on Sony TV. Talks are going on between the channel and the production house.

For the unversed, Bigg Boss season 1 and Fear Factor season one earlier aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The two reality shows later moved to Colors channel and went on to become massively successful franchises. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa earlier aired on Sony TV and later, Colors TV bagged the telecast rights. After JDJ 10 flopped badly, Colors gave up the rights of the dance reality show.

A reliable industry source exclusively informed Filmibeat, "Sony Entertainment Television has been interested in bringing Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi to spice up their viewership. The channel has been eying the two popular non-fiction properties since a very long time. While their fiction shows have failed to garne huge ratings, the reality shows are working for them. If they manage to regain the telecast rights of Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi, it will be a game changer for them."

According to the sources, "Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi may find a new home on Sony TV due to creative differences between the channel (Colors TV) and the production house."
