Bigg Boss 19: Will Salman Khan Return As A Host?

On Thursday, rumours went rife that Salman Khan was in talks to replace Amitabh Bachchan as the host for KBC 17 (Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17). Later, Sony TV dismissed the reports as 'baseless' rumours. In the last couple of seasons, Salman Khan has expressed his reluctance to host Bigg Boss. However, the actor always came back as the BB host. Will he return this year as well?

As per media reports, Salman Khan will be hosting Bigg Boss 19. According to a Twitter post by Gossips TV on May 22, the superstar is likely to shoot the teaser/promo for Bigg Boss 19 in June. The tweet also reported that the show might go on air in July this year.

Bigg Boss 19 Premiere Date & Finale Updates: Big Twist Alert! Longest Season In BB History?

Now, according to the Twitter page named 'Khabri', Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 is likely to premiere on July 30, 2025, and will air until January 2026. If this report turns out to be true, then BB19 will become the longest Bigg Boss season ever.

The tweet read, "Breaking!

#BiggBoss19
will premiere on 30th July 2025 and continue to go on air untill January 2026.

Season 19 will be longest season ever in the history of Bigg Boss (sic)"

As of now, Bigg Boss 14 remains the longest season, which aired for 142 days, followed by Bigg Boss 13. BB13 was on-air for 141 days apparently.

Bigg Boss OTT 4 Cancelled?

As tweeted by the BiggBoss Tak page, there won't be any Bigg Boss OTT this year as BB OTT 4 has been canceled for this year because Team Endemol Shine is apparently busy with the upcoming 'Gori Chale Gaon' show which will air on Zee TV.
