Since the winner announcement, Gaurav Khanna has been busy giving interviews. While he is currently on cloud nine with his Bigg Boss 19 win, the hugely popular TV star made headlines after he was questioned by a media person for using the fatherhood angle for sympathy. Now that he's out of the Bigg Boss house, he finally shared his side.

The Bigg Boss 19 winner has finally responded to the accusations that he used the "fatherhood angle" to gain sympathy during and after the show. After facing heavy online chatter and media debates, the actor has made it clear that his emotional moments were not planned, but came straight from his heart.

The controversy started when some viewers claimed that Gaurav spoke about personal topics like family planning and fatherhood only to win public support. However, the actor has strongly denied these claims and said he does not see his emotions as a weakness.

Talking to ETimes TV, he said, "To begin with, I don't see it as a weakness at all, it's actually my strength," Gaurav said in his statement. He explained that he became emotional because the question from the media came very innocently and without any negative intent. "I know the media person didn't mean anything by it, and I never took it in a negative way," he added.

Gaurav also revealed that some people from the media advised him not to respond since it was a very personal matter. But he chose to speak openly. "I felt I should. I wanted to share my thoughts openly," he said.

Talking about his wife, the Bigg Boss 19 winner expressed deep respect and love for her. "I adore my wife, and I've always believed that respecting her wishes is part of my responsibility as a husband," he shared. He further pointed out that in today's time, not many men put their partner's choices before their own. According to him, if his words inspire even a few people to respect their partner more, he would consider that a big achievement.

He also addressed people who questioned why he made such personal comments publicly. "Some people questioned why I made such a statement, but I stand by it wholeheartedly," he stated.

Gaurav made it very clear that he does not want to start a family until his wife feels completely ready. "I've said it openly, I don't want to start a family until my wife feels ready. A mother's role is incomparable. If I'm meant to be a father, that will happen in its time, but I'll wait for my wife without any hesitation," he concluded.
