Bigg Boss 19's Amaal Mallik Requests Fans Not To Link Him With Tanya Mittal; Calls Is Nonsensical Romance

Amaal Mallik has asked Bigg Boss 19 viewers to stop treating his on-screen moments with Tanya Mittal as a love story, stressing that the interactions were part of show tasks. The music composer shared a detailed note on X on 15 December 2025, soon after the reality show ended earlier this month.

In the post, Amaal clarified that the bond with Tanya inside the Bigg Boss 19 house grew during planned activities designed by the channel. Amaal said these sequences should not be confused with real-life romance. The message came after several fan edits linked the two finalists beyond the show.

If the show needs some people to pair up for a task, do a dance skit or whatever it is…We have to. That's the channel creative and you guys are constantly making this into some nonsensical romance," Amaal wrote, while responding to a fan who shared a video of the music composer and Mittal's romantic dance from the show.

Amaal also used the post to acknowledge Tanya Mittal’s behaviour during Bigg Boss 19. "I am grateful to @itanyamittal for the care & concern she has had for me in this season. I know I've said things which must've hurt her and her fandom as well, but I am truly sorry for whatever I did in anger and to poke her. Just know such things happen and that's how one realises his or her shortcomings and works on them," he continued.
