Ajaz Khan Case Update: The Dindoshi sessions court has denied actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan's request for anticipatory bail. This decision is linked to a case filed earlier this month at the Charkop police station. The case involves allegations of r*pe under the guise of marriage and career promises, made by a struggling actress.

The complainant, an aspiring actress, accused Khan of using his celebrity status to manipulate her into a relationship. She claimed he promised marriage and career opportunities, leading to physical relations without her genuine consent. The FIR details two instances of alleged exploitation on April 4 and April 24.

Allegations and Court Observations

Khan argued that their relationship was consensual and that the complainant knew about his marital status. He pointed to their conversations as evidence, suggesting she demanded money to drop the charges. However, the court found these claims insufficient to grant bail.

The Additional Sessions Judge DG Dhoble noted that the material presented indicated Khan's marriage and professional status as an actor. Despite the victim being an adult, the allegations suggested her consent wasn't freely given as per legal standards.

Investigation Requirements

The court emphasized the need for custodial interrogation to gather evidence. This includes medical examinations, retrieving Khan's mobile phone, verifying WhatsApp chats, call recordings, and collecting other digital evidence like voice samples.

The court order highlighted that the allegations in the FIR suggest repeated exploitation based on false promises of marriage and career benefits. It stated that these inducements undermine the complainant's free consent.

Missing Evidence in Chats

Khan presented chat records indicating a demand for Rs 10 lakhs from the complainant. However, these records were absent from what was submitted by investigators. The court noted this discrepancy while rejecting Khan's bail plea.

The judge concluded that understanding Khan's role and intentions requires thorough investigation. The decision reflects a need to explore all aspects before determining guilt or innocence in such serious allegations.
