Sana Makbul's Health Journey

Earlier this year, Sana opened up about her autoimmune liver disease on Bharti Singh's podcast. Diagnosed in 2020, the condition resembles myositis, which affects actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Sana explained that her body cells attack the liver, sometimes causing lupus or arthritis. She recently turned vegan for health reasons.

Sana revealed that managing her health is challenging despite appearing confident on Bigg Boss OTT 3. She stated, "I take steroids, suppressants, or some medicines. It's a lifestyle disorder, but with the autoimmune condition, the liver condition is a tricky thing. My health keeps fluctuating; I don't know if this can be cured completely."

The Impact of Social Media

During the podcast discussion, Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh highlighted the dangers of misinformation on social media regarding medical treatments. Bharti mentioned how conflicting advice online can be overwhelming. Sana agreed and added that social media often affects her mental state, saying, "Social media plays with your mind. I keep having my bad days."

Recently, Sana disclosed that she has been silently battling autoimmune issues for some time now. This may have led to her sudden hospitalisation. While her condition remains serious, those close to her admire her strength and calmness during these tough times.

Sana has yet to make any public comments about her current situation. Her friends and fans continue to support and pray for her recovery as she faces this difficult period.
