Celebrity MasterChef elimination: Sony Entertainment Television has taken the small screen by a storm with its newest season of MasterChef India. The popular reality show is back on Indian television twist. Unlike the previous season, Celebrity MasterChef features only celebrities as contestants.

From Tejasswi Prakash to Dipika Kakar, popular small screen celebrities are participating in Celebrity MasterChef. The show has selected prominent stars, who have worked in daily soaps, reality shows. Anupamaa star Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar aka Simar from Sasural Simar Ka, Bigg Boss stars like Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, Archana Gautam are showcasing their culinary skills in the Sony TV show.

Did you know Tejasswi Prakash is the highest paid contestant of Celebrity MasterChef India? The Naagin 6 star is being a huge sum of money for her participation in the reality show.

"Tejasswi Prakash is being paid a whopping amount for her participation in MasterChef India. Following her stint in Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6, the actress now commands a premium for her shows. Considering her popularity, the channel and the production house have no qualms in paying her a decent sum of money. We have heard that Tejasswi is charging Rs 6-8 lakh per week for Celebrity MasterChef. This makes her the highest paid contestant of the season," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Usha Nadkarni, Nikki Tamboli and Chandan Prabhakar were in bottom five in Celebrity MasterChef. The contestants took a new challenge to determine who will get eliminated from Celebrity MasterChef India in the latest episode.

The official Instagram handle of Sony Entertainment Television even dropped a promo to create anticipation for the elimination episode.

The caption for the post read, "Aaj ki wildfire mein kiski journey hogi khatam aur Kaunsa Celebrity MasterChef hone wala hai eliminate?"

In the final moments of the show, Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar announced that Chandan Prabhakar has been evicted from MasterChef's new season.

Celebrity MasterChef India airs from Monday to Friday at 8pm on Sony Entertainment Television. The show can be streamed online on SonyLIV.
