Celebrity MasterChef elimination episode: The wait is finally over. MasterChef has returned with a bang on Sony Entertainment Television. The channel has launched the new season with a twist as the show features popular celebrities from the world of small screen.

Celebrity MasterChef is competing with prominent fiction shows like Bhagyalakshmi and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on rival channels. Fans are keen to know who will get eliminated in the Celebrity MasterChef eviction episode in the first week.

CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF CONTESTANTS LIST

The likes of Dipika Kakar, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Rajiv Adatia, Usha Nadkarni, Nikki Tamboli, Kabita Singh, Abhijeet Sawant, Mr. Faisu, Gaurav Khanna and Chandan Prabhakar are participating in Celebrity MasterChef India. A total of eleven celebrities have been locked for the new season of the cooking-based show.

The contestants are leaving no stone unturned to impress the judges and advance to the next stage of the game.

TEJASSWI PRAKASH FEES FOR CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF

The makers have paid Teja a bomb for her participation in the reality show. The popular TV star has received a hefty paycheck for her stint in MasterChef India.

"Tejasswi Prakash is being paid a whopping amount for her participation in MasterChef India. Following her stint in Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6, the actress now commands a premium for her shows. Considering her popularity, the channel and the production house have no qualms in paying her a decent sum of money. We have heard that Tejasswi is charging Rs 6-8 lakh per week for Celebrity MasterChef. This makes her the highest paid contestant of the season," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

WHO WILL GET ELIMINATED FROM CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF?

Gossip mills suggest that a possible eviction is on the cards in the first week. However, our source quipped, "The makers might not eliminate any contestant from the show in the first week, giving them a chance to properly showcase their culinary skills. One can expect eliminations from the second week."

Celebrity MasteChef airs from Monday to Friday at 8pm on Sony Entertainment Television. The show is also available for streaming online on SonyLIV.
