Urva Sawalia is in the lead role in upcoming show Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. NDTV reports, Urva talking about his role in Sony TV's show, saying, "I am extremely happy and proud to play the role of young Prithviraj Chauhan!" He further explained how he felt life after hearing about the show and the character for the first time.

Urva said that he was "extremely excited" as he believed Prithviraj Chauhan is one of the "bravest kings and warriors ever." It took over 6 months for Urva to prepare for the role in the show. Talking about his learnings Urva said, "I have been learning a lot about horse riding, sword fighting and the lifestyle of kings of that time." Besides Urva, Ronit Roy will also be seen playing a vital role in the show. The actor is playing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan's father.
