Sushmita Sen's ex-bhabhi Charu captured everyone's attention after a video of her selling clothes online went viral on the internet. Yes, the former actress is now leading all headlines over her current financial status. Apparently, Charu has also left Mumbai and shifted back to her hometown. But why?

Charu Asopa Viral Video: Why Did Sushmita Sen's Ex-Bhabi Confirms Leave Mumbai?

On Friday, Charu Asopa, known for her acting in TV shows like 'Baalveer', 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev,' 'Mere Angne Mein,' and more, grabbed everyone's attention over a video of her selling suits online. Almost 2 years after her nasty divorce with Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen, Charu has confirmed to have shifted back to her hometown Bikaner in Rajasthan.

Talking to HT, the former actress revealed the real reason behind her leaving Mumbai. "I have shifted to my hometown Bikaner, Rajasthan. I have left Mumbai for now, and I am currently living with my parents. It's been more than a month since Ziana and I moved here," Charu was quoted by the daily.

"Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. For me, the monthly living cost came up to ₹1 lakh -1.5 lakh, including the rent and everything, which was not easy. Furthermore, I would rather not leave Ziana alone with a nanny when I am shooting in Naigaon (Mumbai). It used to get extremely difficult. Moving back home and starting my own thing was completely planned; it wasn't a rushed decision," she added.

Who Is Charu Asopa?

Born on 27th February 1988, Charu Asopa is a well-known TV actress who has appeared in several popular daily soaps. Before tying the knot with Rajeev Sen, Charu had previously gotten married to a Marwari businessman from Rajasthan in 2007, as per reports. However, the two had gotten divorced in 2016. The, she got into a relationship with her fellow actor Neeraj Malviya but it was called off in 2017. After that, she had tied the knot with the Main Hoon Na actress' brother Rajeev Sen in a traditional ceremony in 2019 and welcomed a beautiful daughter, Ziana, in November 2021.

Charu and Rajeev decided to part ways in 2022 but got back together for the sake of their daughter. However, their marital life hit the rock bottom and the tow had an ugly yet mutual divorce in 2023.
