Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya Star Sara Khan: While Physical Appearance May Open Doors, Your...

She said, "It's true, whether we like it or not, how you present yourself makes a first impression. But in the entertainment industry, it's more than just looks; it's about your vibe and how you carry yourself. While physical appearance may open doors, your talent and personality keep you in the room."
"I believe confidence is the best accessory anyone can wear-it speaks louder than any outfit or makeup," she added.
She also stressed that things have changed now and said, "Today, it's not just about looks; it's about how talented, hardworking, and unique you are. Audiences want to connect with real, relatable people rather than just picture-perfect faces."
"Of course, a good personality and confidence still help, but the focus is now on skills, passion, and the ability to deliver. This shift makes the industry more exciting and welcoming for everyone," she added.
Sara also admitted that people have commented on everything-from her outfits to her hair. She added, "At first, it felt unfair, but then I realized you can't please everyone. Now, I just brush it off and focus on being the best version of myself. I've learned that your happiness and self-love are way more important than someone else's opinion."
But she is happy that Mumbai as a city gives people the freedom to be as they want to be. "Mumbai has this amazing vibe where everyone feels free to be themselves, and I love that," she said.
"Personally, I do make an effort to look presentable when I'm stepping out because I feel it's part of my personality. But that doesn't mean I'm always dressed to the nines! Sometimes, a comfy outfit and no makeup are all I need to feel confident. It's all about striking a balance and being true to myself," she ended.
