Recent reports suggested that ACP Pradyuman, played by the iconic Shivaji Satam, is set to meet a tragic end in an upcoming episode. The character will reportedly die in a devastating bomb blast, marking a heartbreaking moment for longtime viewers of the legendary crime show.

Reacting to the same, Shivaji Satam confirms his exit for now and told Bombay Times, "I have no clue about this. I have taken a break for sometime and the makers know what lies ahead in the show. I have learnt to take everything in my stride and if my track is over, I am okay with it. However, I have not been told whether my track is over or not! As of now, I am not shooting for the show."

WHY SHIVAJI STAM AKA ACP PRADYUMAN IS LEAVIND CID 2?

Talking about the reason behind his exit, he added, "I am planning to go on a holiday in May, because my son who lives abroad is coming to India. I have enjoyed playing ACP for 22 years in the earlier season. It has been a great journey. The show has given me a lot. As of now I am just taking a break and am going to enjoy my life. I have worked hard and everyone deserves a break. Whether my track will be revived or not is something the makers know well."
