While the Anupamaa star won the show, Nikki Tamboli and Tejasswi Prakash finished as first and second runner-ups, respectively.

When the show started, viewers never expected Tejassi Prakash to perform so well. The Bigg Boss 15 winner impressed the judges with her innovation and skills. Many predicted her to at least emerge as the first runner-up, if not the winner. However, the Naagin 6 star finished as the second runner-up, leaving the viewers shocked.

In a surprising turn of events, several tweets were directed at Farah Khan, blaming the director-choreographer for Tejasswi Prakash's loss in Celebrity MasterChef. Social media users wondered if Tejasswi Prakash fans blamed Farah Khan for her loss in the reality show.

As Gaurav Khanna became the winner, fans took to X (earlier known as Twitter) to blame Farah Khan for being 'harsh' towards Tejasswi. One user tweeted, "Even my mother could see what was happening. She knows nothing about these actors but she still noticed that farah was unnecessarily harsh towards tejasswi. Gaurav deserved to win, he was indeed good but so was tejasswi. Farah just didn't like her to be in the top 2 (sic)."
