The actress became a household name after her performance as 'Simar' in one of the most popular Colors daily soap 'Sasural Simar Ka'. She'd also won a lot of hearts, along with the winners trophy, over her stint in Bigg Boss Season 12. After taking a sabbatical from TV screens for a quite a few years, Dipika Kakar made a grand return to television with Star Plus' Celebrity MasterChef. However, he had to leave the show mid-way.

Lately, the actress has been at the receiving end of strong accusations of abandoning her daughter from first marriage. Dipika finally address the reports and how it took a toll on her.

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the most 'IT' couples in the television industry. The duo had met on the sets of the Colors serial 'Sasural Simar Ka' and fell in love with each other. After several years of courtship, the duo had tied the knot on 22nd February 2018 and welcomed their first child, son Ruhaan, in June 2023.

However, this was not Dipika's first marriage. Not many people knew that she was previously married to Raunak Samson. Before stepping in to the world of acting, Dipika had worked as an air hostess where she met her ex-husband Raunak Samson who was a pilot by profession back then.

The closeness between the two started increasing and soon they started dating each other. Dipika and Raunak had exchanged wedding vows in 2011 before getting divorced in 2015. According to reports surfacing online, the couple's relationship turned toxic and Dipika wasn't happy in their marriage. She has a daughter from her first marriage with Raunak.

In 2023, reports of Dipika abandoning her child (daughter) from her first marriage started surfacing online, leaving the netizens shocked. Recently, during an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, the actress addressed the reports and broke her silence on the same.

Reacting to the allegations, the actress was quoted saying, "Mai ek maa pe bhi itna bada allegation lagane ka sochungi bhi nahi, ki usne apni beti ko abandon kar diya."

She further revealed how the accusations affected her when she was pregnant with Ruhaan. "I got affected big time because that was the phase I was expecting Ruhan. And for me it was like, you know my only worry and my only question to Shoaib was, 'Yeh jab aayega toh log yeh bol ke kyo bolege' kyunki in baato mein koi sachai hi nahi hai. Ruhaan was a premee we had a difficult time in the hospital," Kakar added.

Previously, Shoaib Ibrahim had dismissed the allegations against Dipika Kakar and called it 'fake'.
