Dipika Kakar Health Update: Television actress Dipika Kakar, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 liver cancer. Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, took to Instagram to share an emotional health update and thanked fans for their support and prayers.

DIPIKA KAKAR DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 2 LIVER CANCER

Earlier, Shoaib Ibrahim had revealed that doctors had found a tumor in Dipika's liver, about the size of a tennis ball. After further medical tests, it was confirmed that the tumor was cancerous. A week ago, Dipika Kakar also informed her fans through social media that she had been diagnosed with Stage 2 liver cancer.

Following the diagnosis, it was revealed that Dipika will be undergoing a major surgery on June 3. As the surgery took place yesterday, her fans and well-wishers were waiting for her health update. Well, her actor-husband has finally opened up about the same in an Instagram story.

Taking to social media account, Shoaib shared that Dipika was in the operation theatre for nearly 14 hours. He expressed his gratitude to the medical team and requested fans to keep Dipika in their thoughts during her recovery journey.

He wrote, "Hi everyone, Sorry I couldn't update you last night, it was a long surgery. She was in OT for 14 hrs. But Alhamdulillah, everything went well. Dipi is currently in the ICU She's in some pain, but she's stable and doing okay. Thank you all dil se for your love, prayers, and support it truly means a lot. I will update you all once she's out of the ICU. Thank you once again. Keep praying for her."
