"Life had other plans... but so did I! (When life gives you lemon, make a lemonade) " she wrote, revealing that she had been down with sesamoiditis, a rare foot condition, which later turned into a sesamoid fracture. Donal explained that it was a tough time for her both physically and emotionally, and she didn't share earlier because she didn't want to worry anyone.

She spent 3 months on complete bedrest, took constant medication, and went through many ups and downs. Yet, her spirit stayed strong. She also took it as an opportunity to learn many things for her craft & sometimes worsen the foot in process . She quotes "That's just me,... a little resilient I guess ! & hope that's fine! ."

Donal also thanked her fans and well-wishers for the love and messages she received concerning of her inactiveness. "Your love has meant the world," she said, adding that she is now finally healing and ready to bounce back stronger.
