The day starts early at our home-we all wake up excited, wear new clothes, and head for prayers," she said.

For Munira, one of the most cherished traditions of Eid is preparing sheer khorma with her mother. "One tradition that has been constant since childhood is helping my mom make sheer khorma. I love being in the kitchen with her, stirring the milk, adding dry fruits, and just chatting away-it's our little ritual," she fondly recalled.

Another childhood memory she holds dear is the excitement of receiving Eidi. "One of my fondest Eid memories is from childhood when I would eagerly wait for Eidi! I remember running to my elders, collecting money, and then comparing it with my siblings to see who got the most. Even now, I secretly enjoy receiving Eidi, though I mostly end up giving it to the younger ones now!" she shared with a laugh.

As she prepares to celebrate Eid with her loved ones, Munira emphasized that the festival is more than just about festivities-it's about the love and happiness shared among family and friends.
