After Ram Kapoor had an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ekta took to her Instagram story to post a cryptic message that made everyone believe it was for him. In her now-deleted post Ekta wrote, "Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows shud shut up! False information N skewed stories can only last till. What Did Ram Kapoor Say About Ekta Kapoor Show?

Talking about the kissing scene in Ekta Kapoor's show Bade Achhe Lagte Hai, Ram said in Siddharth Kannan's interview, "Television mein kabhi hua nahi. We were the first kiss of television, which is a big thing. And three generations watch together, your father, husband with children, but Ekta was very confident ki wo karna hai. She trusted us. I said, 'Okay, I'll first get a go-ahead from my wife'. (sic)" He claimed to then go and ask his wife Gautami Kapoor. She gave him a heads-up and left the decision to him. Ram said, "Phir maine Sakshi (co-star) ko bola I will handle Ekta if you have a problem you tell." Ram further revealed that it took them two days to shoot that particular scene. However, the makers had to face backlash because of that scene. Pointing out the same, Ram said, "Uske baad jo hua Ekta ne jhela, because it was not our idea it was her idea, and yes bht uproar hua."
