EXCLUSIVE! Aishwarya Sharma Opens Up On Fake News, Friendships In Showbiz & Fear: Truly Heartbreaking...

EXCL Aishwarya Sharma On Fake News Friendships

Aishwarya Sharma Exclusive: Popular TV star Aishwarya Sharma, best know for her role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, opens up like never before in an exclusive chat with Filmibeat - getting real about the emotional toll of false media narratives, the kinds of roles she dreams of playing, and the harsh reality of forming genuine friendships in the entertainment industry.

Known for her powerful on-screen presence, Aishwarya Sharma shares her thoughts on dealing with industry toxicity, her hesitation toward one-dimensional characters, and how recent global events have deeply affected her. With unfiltered honesty and emotional depth, this conversation offers a closer look at the woman behind the roles-raw, resilient, and refreshingly real.

Filmibeat: As actors, you are always learning about yourself through news portals. Does that upset you?

Aishwarya: Yes, it does. It's frustrating because most of what's written isn't true, it's half-baked, twisted, and often manipulated for clicks or attention. The saddest part is how low some platforms are willing to go for engagement. They create their own narratives without facts, and people believe them. It hurts when your truth is replaced by someone else's fiction, especially when they don't even try to understand the real you.

Filmibeat: What is the one script you are waiting for to come your way?

Aishwarya: Definitely a role that challenges me, like something layered, emotionally rich, and with real depth. I want to play a character where I can explore why they are the way they are. What shaped them? What are they hiding? I'm drawn to parts that let me dive deep into the psychology and soul of a person, not just play them on the surface. If a script offers that kind of complexity, I'm all in... no questions asked.

Filmibeat: You're open to playing negative leads on TV?

Aishwarya: In television, I'm honestly not too sure, because it often becomes monotonous and predictable. Like I said before, if there's a solid backstory, a reason why the character is the way she is. Only then am I'm open to it. But most of the time on TV, the negative character is just one-note: "Oh, she's the antagonist, she'll obviously cause trouble." That doesn't excite me. I need to see depth, complexity, not just drama for the sake of drama. If they give that, I'd definitely consider it.

Filmibeat: Several tragic incidents have taken place around the world recently. How do you feel about these events, and what impact have they had on you personally?

Aishwarya: It's truly heartbreaking and deeply disturbing. I actually cried when I heard about these incidents... because it hits you that it could've been you or someone you love. That thought stays with you. Now there's this constant fear attached to traveling or even stepping out. There's always a voice in your head wondering, "What if this is my last day?" It's a scary reality we're all facing, and it reminds us just how fragile life really is.

Filmibeat: Do you have friends in the industry, and is it easy to make them?

Aishwarya: I do have a few friends in the industry, but to be honest, it's not easy to make genuine friendships here. Trust is a big issue. I've had some tough experiences, where I opened up to people and later realized they used my words to mock me or bring me down in front of others. It was painful. This industry can get really competitive and, at times, toxic. So now I'm more guarded, and I value the few real connections I have.
