Falaq Questions Fellow Muslim Actors' Loyalty Towards India: Yahan Ke Namak Se Thodi Wafa Kar Lo

Falaq Naaz publicly criticises her fellow Muslim actors for their silence amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, urging them to show allegiance and earn trust from their fellow citizens. She highlights the importance of solidarity during crises and encourages her peers to vocalise their support for India.

In a striking critique aimed at her fellow Muslim actors within the Indian entertainment realm, Falaq Naaz took to social media to express her frustration over their silence amidst the escalating India-Pakistan tensions. She highlighted a noticeable absence of public support for India from these actors, attributing their reticence to a fear of alienating followers, particularly those from Pakistan. This, according to Naaz, has fueled a growing sense of distrust towards the Muslim community among other groups in India. She emphasized the importance of showing allegiance to India, a nation that has been instrumental in their rise to fame and success.

Falaq, known for her role in 'Sasural Simar Ka,' underscored the contradiction in the behavior of these celebrities who often vocalize their opinions on various issues but remain conspicuously silent on matters concerning national security or showing solidarity with India during times of crisis. She urged them to emulate Pakistani actors who, despite their nation's involvement in the conflict, have not shied away from supporting their country openly. Naaz's call to action was a plea for her colleagues to prioritize their loyalty to India and to bridge the trust gap that has emerged.

In her impassioned video, Naaz articulated her disappointment and anger towards her Muslim peers in the industry for not speaking out during the current crisis. She remarked, "Salam, namaste everyone. I hope all the people watching this video are doing well. As the situation in India is going on. I pray that everyone is doing well. Actually, I didn't want to make this video. But I couldn't control myself from making this video. I am very sad and angry. I am angry at my fellow Muslim actors. They are not saying anything. Maybe because of the fear that their targeted audience. Which comes from neighboring countries like Pakistan. Their followers, reach, Instagram, and sites should not fall."

Continuing, she expressed her concerns over the lack of trust in Muslims by their Hindu compatriots, stating, "So that they don't feel bad, I was thinking, why is it that our Hindu brothers and sisters in this country are unable to trust Muslims? I can understand their answer now. They are unable to trust us because when such situations arise, my so-called Muslim brothers and sisters in the industry, at least some of them, choose to remain silent. I don't know about the rest, but especially in the industry, they don't speak up during such times."

Falaq further elucidated on the need for Muslim actors to earn the trust of their fellow citizens by prioritizing their love for the country. "So, I feel that you need to make them believe in you. You have to earn their trust, and maybe this is why they don't trust our community. It makes me very sad. You make so many slogans when you're a Muslim, claiming that there is no one greater than us, that no one is a bigger Muslim than us. But as a Muslim, it is said that first and foremost, you should love your country, and only after that should you think about everything else. So, where is that love? Where is that passion? If you are so obsessed with the people of Pakistan, let me tell you, learn from the Pakistani actors—famous actors—who have worked extensively in India, earned a lot of fame, and have many followers. They still support their country. Why aren't you doing the same?"

Concluding her message, Naaz made a powerful plea, "Why aren't you doing it? Your followers will go down. I feel that there is a huge difference between Pakistan's map and India's map. Because India is very big. So, let the targeted audience stay there. Think about your country. You are living here. You are eating here. Be a little loyal to the salt here. This is what our religion teaches us. And those who understand religion very well, they are with the country. Jai Hind," urging her colleagues to reflect on their priorities and to stand with India, embracing the principle of loyalty that their faith and country demand of them.
