"The channel and the production house are confident that Bhavika Sharma can bring back the lost viewership of Ghum Hai. They feel that viewers might be able to connect with Bhavika, showering her with love. However, the actress has a big chip on her shoulder. She has to carry the burden of the show and miss Sharma seems to be ready for the challenge. She has been paid a good remuneration amid her re-entry. And she deserves every bit of it," an industry source told Filmibeat.
Bhavika Sharma's entry will be shown in the latest episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. It will air on Monday (May 5) at 7:10pm on Star Plus.
While low ratings were declared as the reason of Vaibhavi's replacement, gossip mills suggest that Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin will face the axe if the numbers don't improve.
"Star Plus is merciless when it comes to shutting down shows with low TRPs. Imlie, Banni Chow Home Delivery, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, Pandya Store were pulled off air when the ratings fell. If Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fails to witness a rise in TRPs after the big change, we expect the channel to take a harsh call," an industry source quipped when asked about the show's future.

Guess what? The makers have finalised the new villain of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, who will wreak havoc in Savi's life. He will be the perfect nemesis to Bhavika Sharma's character.
If the latest buzz is to be believed, Abhishek Singh has joined the cast of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. He will play the new villain in the romantic drama that also stars Param Singh and Sanam Johar.
