Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin new lead: The cat is out of the bag! After a few days of speculations, it has been confirmed that Vaibhavi Hankare will be replaced in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Star Plus' mega serial will witness another massive development as the makers are adding a new twist in the tale to spice up the viewership.

WHY VAIBHAVI HANKARE GOT REPLACED IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN?

"Star Plus is definitely not happy with the decrease in TRPs of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. An official confirmation about the revamp will be made soon as press releases will be issued. The channel is yet to take a call on the future of the show as it might pull it off due to low ratings. The cast and crew are working hard to bring decent viewership but the competition from IPL 2025 is not doing the show any favour," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

Gossip mills earlier suggested that Sanam Johar, Vaibhavi Hankare and Param Singh would get replaced from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. However, only Vaibhavi is being ousted from the serial. Her character will reportedly be killed. Interestingly, Bhavika Sharma has already completed her look test and mock shoot with Param Singh.

Contrary to the rumours, Hitesh Bharadwaj is not joining Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. He is busy with the shoot of Aami Dakini.

"Come on, Hitesh is playing the lead role in Aami Dakini. He is busy shooting for the supernatural drama in Kolkata. How will he make a comeback to Ghum? This is beyond imagination. He shares a close bond with the production house but he is definitely not coming back to Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Vaibhavi, who played the role of Tejaswini, said that the character gave her the chance to explore herself as an actress. Reacting to the makers' decision to replace her, she said that she respected their vision.

In an interaction with a leading daily, the actress said that she was 'walking away with nothing but gratitude' for the cast and crew of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

"Playing Tejaswini gave me a chance to explore so much as an actor and connect with viewers. I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I respect the makers' vision and the love the audience has shown to the characters. I'm walking away with nothing but gratitude for the team. I would like to thank you for welcoming Tejaswini into our hearts. This chapter is closing now, but my heart is filled with love and gratitude," Vaibhavi Hankare told Times Of India in an interview post her exit from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
