Gossip mills earlier claimed that Bhavika and Hitesh would quit the show following the leap. The duo confirmed their departure from the hit Star Plus serial. Interestingly, their characters are expected to die in GHKPM, leading to a huge twist.

Following the circulation of the picture, fans started believing that the Kundali Bhagya actor would play the new lead in Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

However, Dheeraj is not replacing Hitesh Bharadwaj as the new male protagonist.
