News over their 'rocky marriage' not just caused a stir on the internet, but also took everyone by shock. Adding fuel to the fire, rumours of the Hero No. 1 actor having an affair with a 30-year-old Marathi actress had also spread like wildfire.

The divorce rumours come almost a month after Sunita Ahuja's shocking revelations about them living 'mostly' separately during a podcast.

Talking to HT, TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant, Arti Singh, who also happens to be Govinda's niece, called it a "baseless gossip" and praised Govinda-Sunita Ahuja's bond.

Arti was quoted saying, "I am honestly not in Mumbai right now, so I haven't been in touch with anybody. But let me tell you something-this is false news. These are just speculations because their bond is so strong. They have built a strong and loving relationship over the years, so how can they get divorced? I don't know where people get all these rumours from-completely untrue. People should refrain from spreading misinformation about their personal lives. In fact, news about my divorce had also surfaced for no reason. Such baseless gossip only creates unnecessary stress. (sic)"

Krushna Abhishek Breaks Silence On Mam Govinda's Divorce Rumours With Wife Sunita Ahuja

Popular comedian-actor and Govinda's nephew Krushna Abhishek too rubbished the divorce rumours. As per HT, the Laughter Chefs star was quoted saying, "This is not possible. They won't divorce. (sic)"

For those unversed, Krushna Abhishek was not on a talking term with mama Govinda nad his family for quite some time in the past. The cold war melted during Arti's wedding ceremony last year.

Kashmera Shah's Reaction To Govinda-Sunita Ahuja Divorce Rumours

Krushna's wife Kashmera Shah also expressed her strong opinion on the "horrible rumour" about Govinda-Sunita Ahuja's divorce. Reacting to the ongoing fiasco, Kasmera told News18, "I don't know anything about their life. But personally, I think it's a horrible rumor. (sic)"
