Samiksha Jaiswal, who plays the role of Gayatri Vajpayee in Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production's Ram Bhavan on Colors TV, recently opened up about her love for Holi, her fondest memories, and her tips for celebrating safely.

When asked about which color represents her, Samiksha shared, "I'll be color white, usually very positive and happy, more like those white wildflowers." For her, white symbolizes peace, joy, and the free-spirited nature she embodies.

On how she prefers celebrating the festival, she expressed, "Either dry Holi or an all-out water one, but without pakka rang." The actress emphasized playing responsibly and avoiding harmful colors that can be difficult to remove.

Reflecting on the dangers of Holi, she strongly discouraged using balloons, revealing, "I myself have gotten hurt a lot of times playing with balloons. Personally, one should avoid that as it can also cause accidents and severe injuries." Instead, she encourages people to opt for safer and more enjoyable ways to celebrate.

Sharing her most cherished Holi memory, she recalled, "Soo many! In particular, with my family and friends where we had bhang and ate lunch thrice, hahaha." Like many, Holi for her is synonymous with laughter, fun, and indulging in delicious festive treats.

For those wondering how to protect their skin and hair from Holi colors, she suggests a simple yet effective trick: "To protect during Holi, a very simple thing to do is put a lot of coconut oil all over and also tie up your hair after oiling to protect from gulaal."

Holi for Samiksha is incomplete without a special treat made by her father. "Holi for me is my Papa k haath ka shrikhand! That's one ritual which has been in my family for years now. Other than that, puranpoli and gujiya are forever Holi food."

Fashion-wise, she keeps it classic. "If it's an event, I wear white, or else anything comfortable."

And what would Holi look like for her on-screen character Gayatri? She laughed, "Holi idea for Gayatri would be just sipping wine and making sure the family does have fun, hahah." Sounds like a perfect way to enjoy the festival!
