MTV Roadies 20 has ended, but the buzz for the contestants continues to remain at an all-time high. Kushal Tanwar lifted the MTV Roadies Double Cross winner's trophy in a star-studded finale, surprising the audience. He emerged as the ultimate winner of the reality show, a week after ditching his gang leader, Gautam Gulati, and joining Elvish Yadav's team.

In what can be described as a nail-biting finale, Kushal Tanwar defeated Hartaaj Singh Gill. Although Hartaj lost the game, he won millions of hearts with his performance. Neha Dhupia, Rhea Chakraborty and Prince Narula praised him as he showcased loyalty towards his game partner in the finale task.

In an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, MTV Roadies 20 runner-up Hartaaj Singh Gill barred his heart out and spoke about the rumours of the makers being unfair and favouring Kushal Tanwar.

A certain section of the audience pointed out that Kushal Tanwar gained an advantage when he saw Hartaj's performance. They believed that this gave him an edge over his competitor.

Rumour spreads faster than true news. Something similar happened as gossip mills claimed that the makers were biased towards Kushal Tanwar in the finale task.

When we asked Hartaaj about the same, he quipped, "We were earlier told that there would be certain challenges in the task, which were scrapped later. Ideally, I should have won the task as I am quicker than Kushal Tanwar. It was a bit unfair as he saw me perform in the finale task, which I believe was wrong. I would have defeated him if it were a fair competition, where nobody saw the opponent's performance. However, I am happy I won the hearts of the audience. I proved that game and goodwill matter."
