Indian Idol Season 15 was Vishal Dadlani's last season as judge. After the dhamakedaar season finale (grand finale of Indian Idol 15) on Sunday, popular singer-composer Vishal Dadlani's emotional announcement the following left everyone heartbroken.

On Monday (April 7), Dadlani took to Instagram and announced that he bid adieu to Indian Idol after being associated with the show as a judge for 6 seasons. Sharing a heart-warming video with his co-judges of Indian Idol S15 Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, the music sensation revealed the real reason behind his exit. In the caption, he has written that he is leaving only because he wants his "time back" as he "can't stay stuck in Mumbai for 6 months each year."

Penning a heartfelt lengthy note, Dadlani wrote, "Alvida, yaaro. 6 seasons mein jitna mazaa kiya, uss se bhi zyada yaad aayegi. 🤘🏽🙏🏽 @shreyaghoshal @badboyshah @adityanarayanofficial #IndianIdol @fremantleindia @sonytvofficial @aradhanabhola @chitralangeh

Haqq se zyada pyaar milaa hai, iss show ki vajah se. Eternally grateful to everyone involved.

Reacting to his announcement video, fans have expressed their sorrow and wrote that they would miss his presence in the upcoming seasons. Aditya Narayan took to the comment section and replied, "The end of an era 🥹 Indian Idol will never be the same without you, big brother. Grateful for all the great times together 🤗🙏🏼♥️" One of the fans commented, "Sir , you're the best judge and the mentor ever !! ❤️🙏🥺 thank you sir for inspiring us and guiding us in every tough situation !❤️🙌 we love you a lot sir !😊"

For those unversed, Vishal Dadlani came on board as a judge of the singing reality show in its 10th season in 2018.
