Jhanak Leap Twist: Star Plus Postpones Leap Due To...? Will Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja Not QUIT Show?

Jhanak leap twist: It's raining new shows on Indian television. Doree 2, Pocket Mein Aasmaan, Mannat, Ram Bhavan hve been launched in the past one month across different GECs. Star Plus is also gearing up for big twists in shows like Anupamaa, Jhanak, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

AFTER GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN, JHANAK LEAP IS ON THE CARDS?

The number one Hindi channel has already introduced a massive twist with the leap twist in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj have made an exit from the romantic drama, paving way for new generation leads. Vaibhavi Hankare, Sanam Johar and Param Singh have joined GHKPM as the new protoganists, taking over the charge from Hitesh and Bhavika.

Star Plus decided to introduce the leap in the serial to revive the ratings and spice up the viewership at the 8pm slot. The programming team also planned to revamp the storyline of Jhanak by bringing a new cast following the 20-year leap. While Jhanak and Aniruddh's love story is working well at the late night slot, the channel seems to think otherwise.

Hiba Nawab confirmed her exit from Jhanak, stating that the makers have a vision in mind. She said that the leap would bring freshness to the show.

JHANAK LEAP POSTPONED DUE TO IPL 2025? HIBA NAWAB TO NOT QUIT

There are strong mumours that the leap in Jhanak has been postponed till June 2025. Saas Bahu Saazish shared a post amid the hullabaloo over the new twist. When we contacted a reliable industry source, he stated, "IPL 2025 will affect the ratings of all the Hindi TV shows. It is a major risk to introduce new faces a month before IPL 2025 starts. The channel has decided to introduce the leap at the right time. Whether Jhanak cast will be retained for the next three months or not remains to be seen. An official confirmation is yet to be made. No decision about the extension of the current storyline has been taken yet."
