Jhanak New Cast After Leap: The cast is finally out of the bag. We finally know who is replacing Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in Jhanak. After months of speculation, it has been revealed that the makers have finalised the actors, who will take over the charge from next month. Fans have been eagerly waiting for an update about the new leads of the hit Star Plus serial.

Why Is Jhanak Taking A Leap? REAL Reason Is Not What You Think

From Erica Fernandes to Zohaib Siddiqui, popular names were approached for Jhanak. The casting team offered the serial to leading celebrities, however, majority of them rejected Jhanak despite the popularity among the audience.

It was way back in February when Filmibeat reported that Jhanak's leap has been postponed. "IPL 2025 will affect the ratings of all the Hindi TV shows. It is a major risk to introduce new faces a month before IPL 2025 starts. The channel has decided to introduce the leap at the right time. Whether Jhanak cast will be retained for the next three months or not remains to be seen. An official confirmation is yet to be made. No decision about the extension of the current storyline has been taken yet," our khabri said.

As IPL 2025 finale is scheduled for next month, the channel has asked to makers to bring a new twist and introduce a new star-studded cast. Many viewers pointed out that Jhanak is performing better than other Star Plus shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Jaadu Teri Nazar and Pocket Mein Aasman.

Despite the constant ratings, the channel is unhappy with the show. Hence, the programming team asked the production house to deliver solid numbers and rake it at least a TRP of 2.

"The channel and the production house have made their mind to introduce a generation leap after IPL 2025. Star Plus has issued a diktat to the production house to increase the ratings or shut shop. Jhanak is doing well in terms of ratings at 10:30pm slot; however, the channel is unhappy with the numbers. They want the show to generate at least 2 TVR at the late night slot. One has to consider that shows like Jaadu Teri Nazar, Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have also witnessed a massive drop in their viewership. It seems the channel is only focusing on Jhanak, which is a bit unfair," an industry source told Filmibeat on condition of anonymity.

Speculations were rife that Erica Fernandes and Zohaib Siddiqui would replace Hiba Nawab in Jhanak. As per the latest development, the production house has locked in three leads for their serial. Can you guess who is confirmed for the show?

Arjit Taneja, Twinkle Arora and Riya Sharma have been finalised as the new leads after the generation leap is introduced. The channel and the production house have not made any official announcement, but the three actors are expected to kick-start the shoot soon. Hiba and Krushal's characters will be shown as dead following the leap track.

While Arjit recently wrapped up Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gye, Riya Sharma was last seen in Dhruv Tara. Twinkle Arora is known for her performance in Udaariyaan, where she was paired opposite Hitesh Bharadwaj and Vivian Dsena.
