Jhanak New Heroine Name: Kanwar Dhillon’s Co-Star Confirms REJECTING Offer To Replace Hiba Nawab After Leap

Jhanak Leap Update: Star Plus' popular show Jhanak, which launched in November 2023 amid much excitement, quickly climbed the TRP charts, earning praise for its storyline and strong performances. The show stars Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in the lead roles of Jhanak and Anirudh, and their on-screen chemistry has kept fans hooked since day one.

Despite its promising start and consistent viewer engagement, Jhanak has been experiencing a dip in ratings for the past few months, slipping out of the list of top five Hindi TV shows. In an attempt to boost viewership, the creators have been implementing regular twists and leaps. However, this shift hasn't delivered the expected results so far.

WHO WILL REPLACE HIBA NAWAB IN JHANAK AFTER LEAP?

Earlier this year, Jhanak makers confirmed a generation leap, and the current cast even confirmed their exits. However, at the last moment, the leap got delayed and is likely to take place post the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2025 culmination. While fans had forgotten about the same as the show recently witnessed another leap with a Bihar twist.

However, it looks like the creative team is all set for the generation leap post IPL 2025 and are already in talks with multiple actors to replace the current leads. We're saying so because a well-known TV actress has confirmed being approached to replace Hiba Nawab after the leap. Yes, you read that right!

Well, we're talking about Shiny Doshi, who was last seen in the hit Star Plus show Pandya Store co-starring Kinshuk Mahajan, Kanwar Dhillon, and Alice Kaushik. Confirming the same, Shiny told India Forums, "Yes, I had been approached. You know how casting calls are."

However, the actress added that she has rejected the offer to replace Hiba Nawab. Revealing the reason, she stated, "I am not taking it up and I have refused because I do not want to be a part of a show which is heading for a leap and then a new story is launched. I rather wait for something fresh to come my way."
