Kashish Kapoor Accuses Househelp of Stealing 'X' Lakhs

Internet sensation and influencer Kashish Kapoor, who skyrocketed to fame after participating in MTV Splitsvilla X5 and Bigg Boss 18, recently caught herself in the headlines. It all started with an alleged robbery case that took place at her residence in Andheri, Mumbai.

According to Times Now, Kashish Kapoor has accused his house help, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, of allegedly stealing Rs 4 lakhs from her cupboard at her Andheri home. Based on her complaint, the Amboli police apparently filed an FIR against Sachin under Section 306 (theft by clerk or servant of property in possession of master) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on July 9.

In her complaint, Kashish alleged that she had kept around Rs 7 lakh cash in her cupboard drawer on July 7. Two days later, when she checked the drawer to send money to her mother, she saw only Rs 2.5 lakhs were there and the rest Rs 4.5 lakh was missing.

Reportedly, she confronted her house help Sachin, who was present at that time, about the theft. When she wanted to check his pockets, he not only refused it but even took out Rd 50,00 and threw it inside her house and fled the scene.

Kashish further stated that Sachin would come on duty daily at around 11:30 am and leave by 1:00 pm. He had been apparently working at Kashish's house, located at the New Ambivali Society, Veera Desai Road, Azadnagar, Andheri West, for the past 5 months. The investigation is currently underway.
