Kumkum Bhagya New Hero After Leap: Shivangi Joshi’s Ex-Co-Star To Replace Abrar Qazi As New Lead?

Kumkum Bhagya Leap Update: For over a decade, Zee TV's hit show Kumkum Bhagya has captivated viewers with its gripping narrative, unexpected twists, and high-voltage drama, keeping audiences hooked every step of the way. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the hugely popular show premiered in 2014 and has been entertaining audiences since then.

In 2023, Kumkum Bhagya witnessed its third generation leap after which Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma made their entries as the new leads Rajvansh and Poorvi respectively. While the long-running drama was performing consistently, the third generation couldn't reach the popularity attained by the previous two generations.

ANOTHER GENERATION LEAP IN KUMKUM BHAGYA

Although Kundali Bhagya wrapped up a few months ago, speculation about Kumkum Bhagya going off-air has been making rounds. However, these rumors appear to be false, as the show is not ending anytime soon. In fact, the makers are preparing to introduce a fourth-generation leap in the coming days, bringing a fresh twist to the storyline.

According to reports, the initial plan was to introduce a 4-5 years' leap with the current actors continuing. However, as the TRPs aren't up to the mark, the channel has asked the Kumkum Bhagya makers to revive the show with another generation leap.

KUSHAL TANDON TO REPLACE ABRAR QAZI AS NEW LEAD AFTER LEAP?

The latest update suggests that Arbaz Qazi and Rachi Sharma are set to exit Kumkum Bhagya as the makers will introduce a new cast in Kumkum Bhagya 2.0.

According to an ETimes report, Kushal Tandon is likely to replace Abrar Qazi as the new hero in Kumkum Bhagya after leap. Revealing the same, a source informed the portal, "Producer Ekta Kapoor was certain about casting Kushal Tandon as the male lead because he fits the new storyline. The hunt for the female lead is on, and we expect to finalize the actress this week itself. The producer plans to introduce the new chapter early next month. It will be a romantic saga but with a fresh storyline."

However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited. For those unaware, Kushal was last seen in Sony TV's Barsaatein alongside Shivangi Joshi.
