Lalit Manchanda Suicide Case: In a shocking turn of events, actor Lalit Manchanda, best known for his performance in the popular Sony TV show 'Crime Patrol', passed away on Monday (April 21). Reports suggest, the actor took his own life and died by suicide. It is being reported that late Lalit Manchanda was found at his brother's residence in Meerut. While the investigation is currently underway, police has ruled out any signs of foul play or conspiracy behind his death.

Lalit Manchanda Suicide: Financial Struggle Suspected?

Noted TV and Bollywood actor Lalit Machanda, who was 48 years old as shared by several reports, died by suicide in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. As per E24, the actor's family told the police that he went to sleep on Sunday night and when he didn't come out of the room on Monday morning they decided to check up on him. That's when they found him hanging from the fan.

The police revealed that no suicide note was found. The last rites of Lalit Manchanda were reportedly performed on Monday evening, as per the same E24 report. According to Lalit Manchandani was said to be facing financial crisis for quite some time due to lack of work. He left Mumbai and shifted to his brother's place in Prahlad Nagar in Lisadi Gate area, Meerut, UP around 6 months back. As reported by Free Press Journal, the late actor was under a lot of mental stress lately.

The news of Lalit Machanda's suicide came as a shock to everyone. He was widely known for playing supporting roles in multiple Hindi films and TV shows. He was seen in popular TV shows like 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', 'India's Most Wanted' and 'Crime Patrol'. The actor was staying Mumbai for more than a decade before moving to his brother Sanjay's place in Meerut.

According to Amar Ujala, he is survived by his wife Taaru Manchanda, son Ujjwal and daughter Shreya. Amidst the shocking news of his demise, a picture of late Lalit Manchanda with TMKOC's Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) is going viral on the internet.
