Meri Bhavya Life Full Cast, Real Name Of Actors: Prisha Dhatwalia, Karan Vohra Play Leads In Colors TV's Show
Meri Bhavya Life Full Cast: Colors TV is always at the forefront when it comes to entertaining the audience with new concepts. The leading Hindi GEC has launched its newest show titled Meri Bhavya Life on Monday (April 28), ending the month on a grand note. Shifting Megha Barsege to the 6:30pm slot, the channel has introduced a fresh daily soap at 7pm slot, giving competitors a run for their money.
Who Is Prisha Dhatwalia? Actress Paired Opposite Karan Vohra In Meri Bhavya Life
Prisha Dhatwalia is playing the titular role in Meri Bhavya Life. She will be seen sharing screen space with Karan Vohra, who is known for his performance in Zindagi Ki Mehek, Krishna Chali London and Imlie season 2.
The promo for the show has given us a glimpse of what to expect. While Bhavya is an amazing architect and gold medallist, her weight becomes the only talking point. Despite her talent, she is often looked down by people around her. As she is plus-sized woman, her groom-to-be decided to abandon her during the wedding.
However, Bhavya is not affected by the situation. She decided to rebuild herself and showcase her talent. Things took a turn when Rishank entered her life. They both are as different as chalk and chees.
Rishank, a fitness fanatic, turned out to be her biggest and unexpected challenge. How the two sides will co-exist forms the crux of the story.
A reliable industry source exclusively informed Filmibeat, "Colors TV is placing its bet on Meri Bhavya Life to strengthen its 7pm slot. The show has a good concept, but launching during the peak IPL 2025 season might attract fewer eyeballs. However, the channel is confident about the show and hence, has shifted Megha Barsege to the early evening slot. Will the gamble work? Only time will tell."
Iqbal Azad will be seen as Bhavya's father in the new serial. "I've had a wonderful association with COLORS for years now, and returning to the channel with Meri Bhavya Life feels incredibly special. This show is a mirror to the everyday battles people fight behind closed doors, especially when it comes to body shaming and societal perceptions around appearance. I'm proud to play Vinay, a father who has lived a life of integrity, responsibility, and sacrifice," Iqbal said in a statement quoted as saying by IANS and released by channel's PR team.
Remember our beloved Ekadashi from Uttaran? Krutika Desai is back on Colors with a bang. Kruttika Desai is playing the role of Bua Maa, adding her own twist to Meri Bhavya Life. Guess what? She is playing the role of Karan Vohra's grandmother.
"Bua Maa isn't loud, she's calculated, restrained, and far more dangerous because of it. She's not just creating chaos; she's surviving through it, feeding off it to stay relevant. That nuance made her different from anything I've done before," Desai said in her statement as released by the Colors' team.
Khyaati Keswani will be seen playing the role of Sakshi, Rishank's mother. She has been paired opposite Hiten Tejwani.
Hiten has been roped in for a crucial role. He is essaying the role of Rishank's father, who is a self-made businessman. "Nitin Jaiswal - a self-made man who has built his saree empire from scratch and takes immense pride in the legacy he's created. Naturally, he wants his son Rishank to carry that legacy forward," Hiten said in a statement. The actor earlier worked with Colors TV in Bigg Boss 11, Mukti Bandhan, Sanskar, Balika Vadhu, Tantra.
