Nausheen Ali Sardar Celebrates National Pet Day With Heartfelt Tribute to Her Furry Companions

As the world celebrates National Pet Day today, actress Nausheen Ali Sardar, who currently plays Chandrika in Zee TV's popular show Vasudha, shared an emotional note about the deep connection she shares with her pets.
Observed every year on April 11, National Pet Day honors the love, loyalty, and healing presence that animals bring into our lives. Whether it's the quiet comfort of a curled-up cat or the boundless energy of a dog greeting you at the door, pets enrich our daily routines and mental well-being in ways words can't describe.
Speaking about the occasion, Nausheen Ali Sardar opened up about her ever-growing furry family and the joy they bring to her life. She revealed, "My furry family adds immense love, energy, and playfulness to my life-there's never a dull moment with them around! Over the years, I've had 12 cats and 7 dogs, each one holding a special place in my heart."
Currently, the actress lives with six cats-Gorgeous, Tiger, Romeo, Babydoll, Sushi, and Mickey Mouse-each with its own quirks and charm. She also mentioned how their comforting presence has helped her through tough times. "My favorite memories are from moments when I've felt low, and they've curled up near me, offering pure, quiet comfort," she shared.
Interestingly, her love for animals extends to the sets of Vasudha as well. The show features a four-legged co-star named Ruby, who plays Gulki. Nausheen describes Ruby as "an absolute joy who brings vibrant energy to work."
But her passion doesn't end there. Nausheen dreams of creating meaningful changes in the lives of animals in Mumbai. "My dream is to contribute towards building more affordable animal hospitals with skilled, compassionate doctors. In a city like Mumbai, we also need dignified farewell spaces for our beloved pets. I hope to establish cremation grounds where we can honor our companions' journeys with love and respect," she added.
As National Pet Day reminds us to celebrate and care for our animal companions, voices like Nausheen's highlight not just the bond, but also the responsibility we share towards those who give us unconditional love every day.
