Unlike the run-of-the-mill daily soaps, Noyontara doesn't have a wicked saas or an arrogant husband. The show is blended with emotions, mystery and drama- the ingredients required to make the best TV show.

The story focuses on Noyontara, who is a 23-year-old ghost-whisperer. In a sudden turn of events, she is forced to marry Dr. Surjo, who deals with a tragic past. They have contrasting personalities as Surjo believes in logic and science.

I personally loved the set-up of Pari Mahal, where the show is based. I am beaming with joy after meeting Hasiram. The cute ghost Hasiram stole all the limelight with his charm and innocence. The first episode set the tone for the serial, keeping me engaged till the last second.

Noyontara is expected to be a game changer at the 8:30pm slot as other channels are running daily soaps at the same slot. When asked about the opening TRPs of Noyontara, the source quipped, "I expect the show to open in the range of 1.3-1.5 TVR. Considering the promotions and buzz, the supernatural show will start off on a flying start in the first week."

"I am quite excited to play the role of Noyontara and take charge for the show. The supernatural thriller is set against the backdrop of Bengal, where things are not as they seem. There's a massive twist in the tale as my character is able to talk to ghosts. My character is a fighter, who continues to stay strong despite being criticised for her gift of talking to ghosts. I was attracted towards the character as Noyon is full of strength, who is willing to help the alive and the dead, specially those who carry pain their hearts.," she exclusively told Filmibeat.

"The show is set in a world where living are shrouded in secrets and the dead aren't always what they seem," Shruti said in her PR statement.

Arjun Chakraborty made his debut in Hindi television with Noyontara, playing the male lead.
