Indian Idol 12 Winner Pawandeep Rajan Accident: In a shocking turn of events, Indian Idol 12 fame Pawandeep Rajan met with a fatal road accident on Monday. The talented singer was apparently traveling in Ahmedabad in a car when the fatal accident took place. An alleged video of the Indian Idol 12 winner from the hospital is being circulated all over the internet.

According to a report published by Times Now, Pawandeep Rajan, who rose to fame after lifting the winner's trophy of Indian Idol Season 12, met with a fatal car accident on Monday (May 5) at around 3:40 AM IST in Ahmedabad. The singer sustained severe injuries and was then rushed to the hospital for treatment.

A video is doing rounds on the internet, in which the 28-year-old singer can be seen in critical condition with serious injuries to his left foot and right arm. He is lying on the hospital bed surrounded by several doctors.

Who Is Pawandeep Rajan?

Born on 27th July 1996, Pawandeep Rajan originally hails from Uttarakhand's Champawat district. Pawandeep's parents, Suresh Rajan (father) and Saroj Rajan (mother), and sister Jyotideep Rajan are Kumaoni folk artists.

Before Indian Idol 12, Pawandeep had also participated in 'The Voice India' back in 2015 and lifted the champion's trophy and took home prize money of Rs 50 lakhs along with a car. He was on Shaan's team. As per reports, he won the youngest Tabla player award when he was just 2 years old.
