Radhika Vidyasagar On Udne Ki Aasha Completing 600 Episodes: A True Milestone When Shows End Within Months

Radhika Vidyasagar, who essays the role of Renuka Deshmukh in Udne Ki Aasha, can't contain her happiness as the show completes 600 episodes. The Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production show has been a consistent favorite with viewers, and for Radhika, the milestone is nothing short of emotional.
"Udne Ki Aasha completing 600 episodes is truly a milestone in today's time when so many shows go off air within just a month or two. It's a huge achievement and a moment of pride for all of us. A big congratulations to our makers, writers, and everyone involved - right from the spot boy to the producers - because it's a complete team effort. Without even a single person in the unit, this wouldn't have been possible," she shares joyfully.
The actress, who has been a part of the show since its inception, expresses immense gratitude towards the team and producer Rahul Kumar Tewary. "I've said this earlier too - Rahul Tewary is such a cool producer. Meeting him always gives me positive energy and motivation. The entire team - the production, the unit, everyone - has become like a family. In fact, there hasn't been a single replacement in our show for two years! That says a lot about the bond and the harmony we share on set," she adds proudly.
Reflecting on the journey so far, Radhika admits it's been intense but deeply rewarding. "When I look back, I feel overwhelmed. We've been shooting continuously - 15-minute and then 50-minute episodes - and maintaining that pace is not child's play. It's been challenging, but also such a beautiful experience," she says.
Talking about memorable moments, she recalls the recent Ram Leela track fondly. "The Ram Leela episodes were shot so beautifully! I watched them again and again - the music, the visuals, everything came together perfectly. It was one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences on the show."
As for her character Renuka, Radhika shares that she's evolved over time and continues to challenge her as an actor. "The different get-ups I've donned for the show have been both fun and demanding. Wearing a wig, managing multiple camera setups, and adapting to the fast-paced working style was initially tough, but now it feels natural. The best part is, even after so many episodes, Udne Ki Aasha never feels repetitive or stale. The writers always come up with fresh, relatable ideas," she notes.
With warmth in her voice, Radhika concludes, "This journey has been beautiful from day one. We're all growing together, learning together, and moving onwards and upwards. I'm truly over the moon and grateful to be part of a show that continues to touch hearts even after 600 episodes."
