TMC Leader Calls Rupali Ganguly 'Flop Actress', Anupamaa Star Reacts With Befitting Reply

The Anupamaa star received support from her followers as the TMC leader responded to her tweet on Mamata Banerjee.

It all started when Rupali Ganguly replied to Mamata Banerjee's tweet about 'BJP's agenda in Assam'. The TV star asked the West Bengal chief minister to focus on her home state, stating that she should answer 'who would protect Bengalis' in their own land.

"Before shedding crocodile tears for Bengalis in other states, Mamata Didi must answer who will protect Bengalis in West Bengal itself? From Sandeshkhali to Murshidabad, the only atrocities on Bengalis are happening under her watch. Bengal has never been more unsafe for its own people (sic)," Rupali Ganguly tweeted.

Responding to Ganguly's tweet, Nilanjan Das said that she doesn't need lectures from her. The TMC leader attacked the Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai star, calling her a flop actress.

"The seniormost stateswoman of India doesn't need lectures from a flop soap actress," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Rupali Ganguly gave a fierce reply to Das, reminding her that people can question Mamata Banerjee as she is the leader of the state.

"Isn't your so-called 'senior-most stateswoman' a public servant, or she's a dictator who can't be questioned. But if you've already accepted her tyranny instead of her duty to the people, then congratulations on embracing dictatorship. Classic TMC behaviour! (sic)," the TV diva replied. Her tweet captured the attention of the social media users.

Rupali's fans lauded the actress for giving a 'befitting reply' after she was labelled 'flop'. One user tweeted, "To show the leader great, you needed to put another woman down.., wow what a way to show your leader Supremacy, at least before calling someone a Flop actress, Google about career graph is more successful than some people's existence (sic)."
