Wants To Destroy...: Rupali Ganguly's Stepdaughter Esha Accuses Anupamaa Actress Of Destroying Her 'Life'?

Rupali Ganguly Stepdaughter New Accusations: Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter Esha Verma has once again broken the internet on Wednesday when she shared fresh new video accusing her family for 'destroying' her life. She also shared how she is scrutinized, mocked, even trolled by the fans of Rupali Ganguly. For the unversed, Esha has earlier accused Rupali of breaking her parents' marriage, after which Rupali Ganguly filed a defamation lawsuit against Esha. Now, in a set of new stories, Esha opened up about her daily struggle in life while standing in her ground.
Did Esha Verma Accuse Rupali Ganguly Of Destroying Her Life?
In a video Esha Verma said, "Some days you can be okay and some days you are a complete wreck. You get scrutinised for wanting to speak up and you also get questioned, 'Where the f**k did you go?' When you have your own family, who wants to destroy you for just trying to live her life? I tried to be happy but we don't talk about these things."
In the same video, Esha thanked the people who stood by her in difficult times while expressing gratitude to be able to move forward in life. The note stated, "Thank you to everyone who's stood by me, listened, and rooted for me through all of this. I'm working on moving forward-but this was my fight, and it was my right to speak on it."
She further wrote, "I was a "nepo baby" kept in the shadows. I grew up with silence, confusion, and pain that wasn't mine to carry. When the truth came out-unexpectedly and loudly-I was the one blamed." Revealing her state of mind, "I was scared. I was unprotected. And instead of being supported, I was shamed. But after months of harassment, I'm standing my ground. Everything I've shared has been intentional. It's never been for attention-only to reclaim my story and begin again."
In another video, she mentioned how she wants to be the voice of people who can't speak up, she wrote, "I'm here to be a voice for others who've felt this kind of pain. I know most people scroll past someone who's emotional, but I needed to share this. Especially now-after learning where my rights, my safety, and my legal protection truly stand. In this video, I mention about the grief of letting go of my father. Not in death-but in love. It's mourning what was, and what will never be. That grief deserves space too."
Esha also shared a note sharing the 'trolling' and 'threatening' message that suggested her to go behind bars while comparing her life with Rupali, "This isn't just online trolling. This is coordinated, sustained harassment that has affected my personal well-being and my professional life. When my family-especially my mom-saw the kinds of messages I've received, she was devastated. She asked, "Why are they attacking you like this?" Imagine waking up or going to bed to messages like that, every week... How would you feel? Let's be clear-this is not about publicity. It's about abuse. Broken homes. And the way families- especially in South Asian communities-are often pressured into silence. These are real issues. Taboo issues. And just because mine came out in the public eye, I was mocked, blamed, and sued-for surviving it," she wrote.
In another story, she claimed how she has been dealing with several issues over the past few months, including defamation suit, and foreign media monitoring, "Over the last five months, l've dealt with:
- A foreign defamation lawsuit filed for 250 crore / $6 million-despite having no legal basis
- Foreign media outlets monitoring and reporting on my personal content
- Headlines created from archived or misinterpreted posts
- Content from my professional accounts printed and sent to my private addresses
- Efforts to publicly misrepresent my legal status and nationality
- Foreign court dates scheduled in January and February-on my birthday and my mother's-with no formal notice, only discovered through media
- Personal content taken out of context to distort my experience
- Messages targeting not just me, but also my parents
- A civil case pursued in India during a time I was unable to attend-then used to claim a legal "victory"
- Attempts to escalate the matter into criminal accusations, despite it being centered around my personal truth
- A pattern of anonymously or newly created accounts used to monitor, screenshot, and track my online presence (several major corporate platforms supported my efforts to identify these behaviors and their sources)."

Esha is the daughter of Sapna Verma and Ashwin Verma, who is the husband of Rupali Ganguly. The controversy started when Esha's 2020 post surfaced online when the Anupamaa actress was accused of breaking the marriage of Sapna and Ashwin, the latter came forward and cleared that Rupali isn't anyway involved with the same.
